I wept this morning thinking about our city. I was thinking about the families and children who drowned in their homes. It's a sad thing but we see an opportunity to do a greater good than has ever been done.

I wept this morning thinking about our city and thinking about the many families and children that probably drowned in their homes, so it's incredibly sad. And yet somehow at the same time we've experienced a kind of joy and vision and see an opportunity to do a greater good than we've ever done before.

Danny will now have his chance at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. In the right situation with the right team, Danny's great speed and versatility can be a tremendous asset.

We are shocked and saddened by the tragic news we received this morning. Danny was loved and respected by not only everyone in the basketball program, but by many people in the Western community. Our thoughts and prayers are with Danny's family.

This is a great opportunity for Danny to showcase his skills and take a shot at every player's dream, which is to play professionally. Danny has two extremely desirable traits - great speed and versatility. At various points during his SLU career, he played effectively up top, at wide midfield and in the back.
