The Bravo Battery was the only unit without any family problems or soldier problems raised to the brigade level.

Historically, (Chinese) families prefer a son. The son is the one who carries the family name, does the physical labor and takes care of the parents. Daughters take care of their in-laws.

It is unacceptable that immigrant workers labor in unsafe conditions for wages insufficient to support their families. It is unacceptable that immigrants, including children, are shackled and detained in deplorable conditions. And it is unacceptable that already this year immigrants have died by the dozens in the California desert or in other parts of the Southwest.

We have four boys. Otto is the only boy in his family. He fit right in with our crew. They all got along great.

Professor Olsen's approach is intended to provide more choices for low-income families. It could serve hundreds of thousands of additional families at no additional cost.
