Pearl white

The last three generations of our family, there hasn't been one natural death. There were eight of us children, born in the Ozark mountains. Today there only remain my mother, my sister and myself. The rest all died in various accidents. So you see my fate will get me sooner or later.

It's about a white family and a black family living in modern day North Mississippi but the white family's mind set is that of 1869 and no matter what you do it won't change, they still think and talk the way they would in 1869, so it's really pushing it, ... My character is a member of black rock band who works at Sonic, but he is moving upward and is in direct conflict with the white family. I think that it's really going to push the envelope and address the issue of race relations in America, even if we don't want to.

I love writing but hate starting. The page is awfully white and it says, "You may have fooled some of the people some of the time but those days are over, giftless. I'm not your agent and I'm not your mommy. I'm a white piece of paper, you wanna dance with me?" And I really, really don't.
