The integrity of the game is everything.

Other sports play once a week but this sport is with us every day.

It's not, 'We have a city to bid, now let's go check in with the federal government,'

The federal government has to understand the game has changed and we'll have to change to be competitive. We don't want to enter and not win, or not have a good chance to win. We don't want cities to be spending an awful lot of money and not get a full chance to be victorious.

Baseball is a public trust. Players turn over, owners turn over and certain commissioners turn over. But baseball goes on.
