Women must try to do things as men have tried. When they fail their failure must be but a challenge to others.

We encourage all women who are trying to conceive or who are pregnant that they shouldn't smoke and they shouldn't drink alcohol. This is because we really can't tell people how much or how little one cigarette or one drink can really have an affect on those babies. It's harder on our livers and when we are carrying a child everything has to work extra.

[The theme] was chosen because in previous years it seemed to be a lack of talking about women and women's issues. Black women in this country have had a very specific role not always examined by the larger population.

Some women who have short arms are 5 feet 6 but buy petites because they are more comfortable with that arm length.

It's about our veterans, the men and women who are serving our country.
